Pollution Board: Complaint Against BJ 301 Guest House for Sound and Other in Sector 2, Bidhannagar!

Dear Member Secretary,

We wish to urgently draw your attention to ongoing sound and environmental pollution issues stemming from the guest house located at BJ 301, Sector 2, Saltlake, Bidhannagar, Kolkata, West Bengal near BJ Market বিজে মার্কেট, সল্টলেক সিটি and BJ Block Sarodotsab Committee office. 

This establishment, in সল্টলেকে বি জে ব্লক ৩০১ is not only a source of noise pollution but is also engaged in various illicit activities, including alleged prostitution, escort/ call girl services, and massage services in Salt Lake Kolkata on the premises.

The guest house frequently hosts loud parties at night, generating high noise levels that are harmful, especially to our senior citizens. The sound pollution from these events regularly exceeds acceptable decibel limits, disrupting the peace and quiet of our neighborhood and impacting the health and well-being of our community members.

In addition to noise pollution, there is a significant environmental concern. The vicinity of the guest house, Sen PG for Ladies, often finds itself cluttered with garbage, including a large number of alcohol bottles and other refuse, which is carelessly discarded and not properly managed. This not only tarnishes the aesthetic of our neighborhood but poses health risks as well.

Despite multiple complaints  there has been no resolution or mitigation of the situation. Therefore, we urgently request the Pollution Board's intervention to address these serious concerns and ask for a thorough investigation. 

We look forward to your prompt action to restore the tranquility and safety of our community.
